Runaway train...

...on a one-way track... Soul Assylum. Nice song. Among my journeys, I have come across this: an abandoned railway. Why is this so important? Well it is the reminder of a period when my country was suffering from great prosperity. Why "suffering"? Well it is this prosperity that led the country to what it is today: a ruin. A shadow of its fromer self. However, this "shadow" is regenerating. Signs of progress are visible.

Back to our railway. It was used to carry the goods which came from the numerous factories that were mass-producing shoes, machine-tools, crockery and any other useful stuff. This "station" was abandoned after the Revolution and it now serves as a "drop-off" point for Coke cans. Fortunately, it has been preserved [unlike other railways that have been stripped off even if they were functional]. Call it a piece of history, a gap in time or just a plain railway. For those of you who know it, call it "Railway No. 178 that links Clujana to the main railway"...
